Zenabu and her sister were born and raised in a Muslim family. Her sister was a very decent and a God-fearing girl while Zenabu was the opposite of her.
Her sister took her daily prayers serious and lived a life worthy of emulation. Zenabu on the other hand was very stubborn, recalcitrant and indulged in nothing but wayward lifestyles. She was mostly found in the Ghetto with her friend and partner in crime,Missy.
Zenabu was a notorious criminal who involved herself in several theft cases as if she was suffering from kleptomania.
Zenabu’s bad behavior and weird actions landed her mother who loved her so much in the hospital. After going unconscious on hearing a crime her daughter Zenabu had committed.
After this incidence, Mallam Issah who Zenabu respected so much, advised her to put a stop to her unscrupulous behavior or else her mom would die of emotional trauma.
Due to the respect and love she had for Mallam Issah and her mom respectively, she decided to pay hid to the sound pieces of advice Mallam Issah gave her.
Zenabu later informed her best friend about her urge to turn a new leave and start life all over again. Even though Missy was reluctant to quit living life in the Ghetto, she encouraged Zenabu and supported her decision to change for better.
Zenabu then moved from her comfort zone and found herself a job in the city. At her workplace where Asante Twi was the most spoken language, she was cheated on several occasions because they thought language was a barrier. But she kept pretending not to understand the language and the cheating never ceased.
Despite all this, Zenabu proved beyond all reasonable doubts that she was a hardworking and a dedicated staff. So the boss got to like her and started sending her on errands. She was one day sent to her boss’s room where she found a huge sum of money and was tempted to steal it. She left the room, came outside, picked up her phone and called her best friend to tell her about the money she saw. So that friend of hers encouraged her to pick up the money, which she did.
On her way, she saw her boss from afar and decided to hide the money in a container where cassava and plantain peels were kept for a herdsman called Haruna.
Later that day, Haruna came for the container. Zenabu tried chasing him but was stopped by her boss since work was still in progress. So Haruna unknowingly took the money together with the cassava and plantain peels to the cow shed.
Haruna’s helper, Bitumbi also known as Biggie came and ask for some of the peels. So he directed him to take as much as he wants. And unfortunately, Biggie who everybody knew in the neighborhood as a mentally handicapped person, picked the portion containing that huge sum of money.
All this while Zenabu had left her workplace looking for Haruna in order to get the money.
Meanwhile Zenabu’s absence also made her a prime suspect when alarm was raised by her boss about the disappearance of the money.
Zenabu was looking for Haruna whiles her boss and staff were busily searching for her.
