Midfield general Jean Micheal Seri who played for French ligue 1 side OGCE Nice last season has joined newly promoted premier league side Fulham.
The Ivorian who had attracted interest from bigger clubs such as spainish champions Barcelona, and other sides like Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United penned a 4 year deal for a reported fee believed to be 18mpounds.
Fulham whom have been abscent from the English top league since the 2011 / 2012 season gained promotion last season after finishing top of the Championship. The craven cottage hopefuls would believe the midfielder will be at his best when the English Premiership begin in august.
The 26 year old joined Ligue 1 club Nice for a transfer fee of 1m Euro in May 2015 from Portuguese side Pacos de Ferreira. Seri was part of the Nice side that finished 3rd in the French league in the 2016/ 2017 season. Although they eventually lost to Napoli in the Champions league play off.
The premier league side will hope he can rediscover his form from that season. Jean micheal Seri got his first international call up on February 27, in the year 2014 in a friendly against Belgium although he was an used substitute. He then made his first senior debut in a 2017 Africa cup of nation qualifier against Sierra Leone. He then moved on to score his first goal in a FIFA world cup qualification second round second leg 3 – 0 home win over Liberia.
Seri played 101 times for OGCE Nice before making the move to England scoring 13 goals in the process. He also won the Nice player of the year 2017.
